Standing 120-feet tall, the picturesque Mingo Falls is located on the Cherokee Indian Reservation, in the southern Appalachian Mountains of Cherokee, North Carolina.
It’s a short uphill hike of over 150 concrete steps, with the trail ending at a footbridge over the creek. The stairway is well constructed, except that all steps lean toward the creek at right; don’t fall in! Parking is limited, and restrooms – porta potties – are available at the trailhead.
