Colorful Chaotic Composite

At approximately 5:00 a.m. this morning, I came across an earlier abstract work which I’d created a few years ago (seen here). It was based on a photograph of the keys on a piano. In the mood to repurpose, I endeavored to make modifications – texture, watercolor effects, blend modes and coloration changes.

Next, I made copies of the four quadrants. Each was relocated in a clockwise fashion to a new position. At the same time, each individual quadrant was also rotated in a counter clockwise direction.

After three cups of coffee, this is the end result…

Monochromatic Cluster of Cells

Enjoy this textural digital image in a monochromatic display, featuring a close up perspective of many circular shapes clustered together like cells.

I used Abode Photoshop to create this design, which was a work in progress over a period of weeks. While it would have been quicker to include larger shapes, I chose instead to add as many mostly smaller shapes as my patience would permit, with each individual element added one by one. This transpired in between the development and completion of other works over time.
