Far from shore, this mysterious blue orb glows brightly at sea on a metallic-gold platform. What is it? Where did it come from? To date, the only information researchers have been able to provide is that more items like it can be found at Redbubble and Pixels.

Background –
The battle was over. Humans had prevailed and the marauding aliens from outer space had been defeated. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed that our opponents were some sort of reptilian creatures with scales for skin. Within a matter of only a few weeks, popular boots had been fashioned from this newly discovered material. Little did mankind realize, however, that these scales were alive in a dormant state of suspension – stay tuned…

Yesterday, I traveled back in time to a distant computer – an old PC located across the room – to create this science fiction digital artwork, featuring a metallic planet of mountains and cones, with a mysterious, glowing blue sphere.
