A wrought-iron lattice tower constructed in 1889, the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, stands 1,063-feet tall – it’s the tallest structure in the city.

This image is based on a photograph with which I’ve made creative modifications using various filters, textures and adjustment layers to highlight vintage qualities.

Featured here is a railroad train trestle which crosses over the Dead River, in a deep ravine with a small waterfall known as Trestle Falls. Located in Michigan’s upper peninsula, near Marquette at coordinates 46.554554, -87.507234.

This aesthetically pleasing landscape scene is based on an analog photograph taken in 1996 during an autumn visit.

Spanning the Straits of Mackinac, the Mackinac Bridge connects the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of Michigan. Since 1957, it’s the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere. This photograph was taken from Mackinaw City.

The Mackinac Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the western hemisphere, with a total length of 26,372 feet. Spanning the Straits of Mackinac from St. Ignace to Mackinaw City, it connects Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas and opened for traffic in 1957.

Based on a photograph I took in 2007 at Hermosa Beach, California, of a pier in the Pacific Ocean. Several textural layers using different blend modes were combined with other adjustment layers, to create this grunge-style, vintage imagery.
