Some mornings are more scenic than others. A few weeks ago, after I’d started the coffee, I observed these lovely clouds. So, I gathered my camera and stepped out on to the balcony to capture this silhouette sunrise. I’ve recently completed a web site and designed a flyer for clients seeking to sell their condominium FSBO (for sale by owner) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I used WordPress to design their site – here, wallstreetcondo.info – and FedEx to print the flyers. The clients were pleased with the work, as was I – success!

Built in 1912-1913, Barton Dam is one of Ann Arbor’s four dams on the Huron River. It stands 34 feet high and 1767 feet long. This hydroelectric power facility has a 900-kilowatt turbine that generates 4.2 million kWh per year. Perhaps twilight, not sunrise, better describes this early hour on the Huron River in Ann Arbor, Michigan. So early, in fact, that not a single rower was boating yet – this being a favorite stretch of the river for such exercise. Peaceful and calm, with faint reflections of clouds unbroken, though periodically a fish would surface to stir ripples into the water.
