With a fresh cup of morning coffee poured, I opened the living room blinds to let in some sunshine and enjoy a desert view…and, a 90-foot tall metallic sphere?
A lot has changed over the years on the red planet. Well, wait a minute. Strike that. Nothing has changed on the red planet. In fact, this isn’t even Mars. It’s a digital collage, which, when combined with your imagination, may vaguely resemble the surface of that planet. Or not. No matter. The point is that you can visit my shops at Redbubble, ArtPal and ArtFlakes for some out of this world 👽 gifts and apparel.
Island of Gitche Gumee
Imagine…the shores of Lake Superior, at Little Presque Isle, north of Marquette, in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula…on a wall in your home, office, business lobby or cafeteria setting. Get the picture?
Well, infinite may be an exaggeration. It’s actually 400 three dimensional, metallic spheres arranged in a 20 x 20 grid. But, it’s really the reflection that sets this design apart from the average, as well as a close-to-surface point of view.
Cresting the top edge of the mountain, I could see four large silver spheres aligned into the distance, embedded within a jagged rock surface. It was a nice day and I had plenty of time to…promote the sale of my digital artwork by suggesting you visit my shops at Pixels, ArtFlakes and/or ArtPal. There, you’ll discover some really cool stuff. Thanks!
An autumn drive towards the horizon, among tall trees, on a dim and hazy day. Enjoy my stylized rendition of this photograph on prints available through Pixels. Thanks!
This Smoky Mountains photograph was taken soon after sunrise on a mostly overcast autumn morning, from the Foothills Parkway. The town below is Wears Valley, Tennessee. Prints available.
