Literally 20-feet from a gravel road in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, with space for one vehicle to pullover, this roadside waterfall provides a peaceful setting to enjoy the beauty of nature.

This video was taken on my Adventure At Paine Creek, which details an extensive hike both up & down a gorge, as well as the rewarding discovery of a waterfall. This area is located in Dayton, TN, along the Laurel-Snow Trail on the Cumberland Plateau, and Paine Creek is an obscure creek feeding into Richland Creek. Prints available.
Situated along the Caney Fork, Great Falls are a set of three 30-foot tall waterfalls located in the 883-acre Rock Island State Park, on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee. At the base, it’s almost like being in a rainforest, with moss everywhere. In order to stay dry, I came from across the river, with some creative rock hopping, though many people in the summer simply wade through waist-deep water to access this beautiful area. Prints available.
This is Triple Falls On Bruce Creek, a.k.a., Little Egypt. Located near Caryville, Tennessee, continuing on the trail passed the waterfalls provides hikers with a scenic overlook from Devil’s Racetrack.
It’s often said that a person can never go home again; that is, everything changes with time. Memories fade, often becoming embellished and romanticized, and the environment from which recollections stem are also altered. Yet, with a refined sense of appreciation – and, at just the right moment – magic can happen.
This was my experience upon returning to the shores of Lake Superior, the place of my childhood, as seen here – outside the city of Marquette, in Michigan’s upper peninsula, along the beach near Little Presque Isle.
The dynamism of a shoreline governed by powerful forces of nature – i.e., Lake Superior – provided a compelling, beautiful visual and spiritual experience, beyond my reminiscence. A great day, indeed!
Prints available. This black and white photograph was taken inside Nickels Arcade in Ann Arbor, on the campus of the University of Michigan, and features a confluence of angled walls and windows.
On a recent visit to Cades Cove, located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, near Townsend, I pulled over to park near a creek and explore the area. This photograph was taken that day.

Enjoy your time looking at this modified collection of watches. Beginning with a photograph of chaotic, randomly dispersed timepieces, I used Adobe Photoshop and Affinity Photo to establish an aesthetic configuration of vintage, metallic shapes. Available in my shops at Redbubble, Society 6 and Fine Art America.

In this unusual desert scene, elephants walk in a single file line on a quest for water, with transparent flatscreen monitors rotating within one another. To create this design, I used Bryce, Adobe Photoshop and Filter Forge software. Guests can visit my shops at Society 6, Redbubble, Fine Art America and Cafepress to discover some cool products. Hope to see you soon…
