Black And White Tree Roots

On The Trail

I photographed this black and white landscape scene while hiking in the Cherokee National Forest, along the trail to Falls Branch Falls. This chaotic collection of roots belonged to a single tree.

Black And White Waterfall

Bald River Falls

The scenic Bald River Falls stands 90-feet tall and is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area. Located in the Cherokee National Forest of the Southern Appalachian Mountains of eastern Tennessee, this photograph was taken on a bridge from the road, a short distance from parking.

Prints available.

White Water Rapids

For your safety, please step back away from the water!!! Following heavy rainfall, the white water rapids along Middle Prong Little River were moving at a dangerously fast clip. Situated in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the Tremont section is truly a gem for those who like to enjoy the great outdoors. Prints available.

Cabin At Cades Cove

Prints available. Over the rail, across the porch, into a room and out through a window. This vintage wooden structure is a cabin once used by European settlers of Cades Cove, a now historic tourist destination, located near Townsend, Tennessee, in the Smokies.

Bowed Boards

A roomful of bowed boards provide tension to support drywall ceiling tiles while adhesive mastic dries. Getting from one side of the room to the other was somewhat of a challenge, requiring agility, frequent turns, and, occasionally, repositioning boards accidentally dislodged.
