Following several days of heavy rain in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, visitors are greeted with an abundance of small waterfalls. Many are temporary and gone in only a few days. This particular falls remains throughout the year, though with less water flowing. Often, it’s a matter of timing & flexibility.
With high water on Lynn Camp Prong, this waterway formed to flow around taller rocks before reconnecting. It was morning and sunlight was beginning to stream into the forest, on to the water.
For your safety, please step back away from the water!!! Following heavy rainfall, the white water rapids along Middle Prong Little River were moving at a dangerously fast clip. Situated in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the Tremont section is truly a gem for those who like to enjoy the great outdoors. Prints available.
