Moss Covered Trees

It was as if I’d entered a temperate-climate rain forest, with trees covered in a thick, green moss. But this scene was photographed on an autumn morning in November, along Middle Prong in the Tremont section of the Smoky Mountains…in Tennessee. You may enjoy this forest scenery in your home or office, by shopping online for a print from my galleries at Pixels, ArtPal and/or ArtFlakes. Many selections available. Thanks for stopping by!

Return To Cumberland Falls

Located in Corbin, Kentucky, Cumberland Falls, in addition to being the only location in the Western Hemisphere to have a “Moonbow”, is also known as the Niagara of The South. Spanning 125-feet across the Cumberland River, the falls stand 60-feet tall and generate a thunderous sound of falling water which echoes throughout the gorge.

It’s a very popular tourist destination, with a broad range of hospitality amenities to enjoy – kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, public pool, restaurants, motels, camping and cabins for rent. On site is ample parking, restrooms, gift shop, visitor center, scenic overlooks, picnic tables, and sometimes a local musician.
